History Under Current Owner:
This car was purchased from its third owner in 2007 when the odometer reading was 137000 after sitting in a garage for a couple of years. The car has original engine and transmission. The original engine of this era is unique since environmental regulations forced Porsche to tune the engine in a manner that often shortened the engine’s lifetime.
The mechanical condition of the car was unclear at the time of purchasing since it did not start, but the car’s body was in exceptional shape thanks to the galvanized steel that Porsche started to use the year before.
Mechanically, the car turned out to be in good shape since a couple of days after purchase, the new owner was able to fire up the engine and in less than a month the car passed inspection and was put back on the road without major repairs.
After enjoying the car for a while the decision was made to invest a proper restoration of the car and the results are just stunning.
