Great Cars have Great Stories:
As car lovers we all to hear the history of a vehicle. This is what makes them special and why they hold such a place in our hearts, lives and memories. This one is particularly sweet. Purchased new by Claire in 1969 this beautiful Mustang was her dream car and she was determined to own it. So she did. I think we can all understand that. Just a few short years later Claire met her husband to be, Greg, and they were a match made in heaven. He had just purchased his dream car as well a 1968 Chevelle and was ready to conquer the world. After falling for each other like a couple of blind roofers these two bright eyed kids set out to make their life together, and so they did. The first step in the process was as always, sacrifice. So they both sold their dream cars to purchase their first piece of land. Greg was a builder in the new construction industry and was ready to get to it so they did just that!
The years passed by, the happy couple like many had children, raised them and saw them on into adulthood and as we all do eventually found themselves Empty Nesters. As their 40th Anniversary approached Greg had an idea to recapture something they had both missed over the years and so he set out to find Claire's Mustang! After a long and exhaustive search he not only found the car but it had been professionally restored to perfection! So he broke out the check book and on their 40th Wedding Anniversary he gave her back the very dream car she had so selflessly let go 41 years before. You know what they say; "If you love something let it go, if it comes back to you it's yours".
